50 Comforting Recipes for The Cozy Season
The cozy season is upon us! Also known as “winter”, but that doesn’t have quite the same happy ring to it now does it? Where we live in Minnesota, our cozy season lasts nearly half of the year so we have to greet it with all the optimism and enthusiasm we can muster to make it though gracefully (or, you know, sane).
When the temperatures drop I find myself gravitating toward the kitchen more than usual. Standing in front of a warm stove, stirring a big pot of something nourishing for my family brings me so much comfort. Especially after the year we’ve all had (hi, 2020), I think comfort food is a necessity now more than ever. And so, I’ve gathered up a whole host of recipes sure to keep you bundled up in warmth and deliciousness! 50 recipes (!!) for you—some of which are my tried & true favorites and some new ones that I’m so very eager to try this season!
When dinner prep time rolls around and the sky turns dark, I recommend lighting a few candles in the kitchen, popping on a good playlist to stir and sway to, and before you know it you’ll have full bellies around the table and an expanded repertoire of beloved recipes to last you till springtime.
